CHILDREN – FIRST PENANCE (Sacrament of Reconciliation) AND FIRST COMMUNION –
Children usually receive the sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance) and First Holy Communion in the second grade.

All students in our Religious Education Program (grades 3 through 6) receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance) during the school term during Advent and Lent. We encourage the children to celebrate God’s forgiveness at other times as well.

Likewise, all children who have made First Communion are strongly encouraged to receive the Eucharist every Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation.
